How To Really Stop Your Android Phone From Hanging
We always get irritated by the hanging problems in our smartphone. It may happen when you make some urgent outgoing calls or picking up incoming calls, your smartphone freezes. You face problems in opening the apps or your mobile is not running smoothly, then you should work for this hanging problem. Here, I am sharing some tips that will help you to get rid of this problem of hanging.
Use External Memory
Always install/place applications and other data in external memory (memory card) if internal memory is too low, so that whenever any app runs it will get space to store temporary data in internal memory and because of this you can run multiple apps at the same time without any hassles.
Restart Your Phone
The restart or switching off your mobile for a few minutes is the simplest way to solve hanging problem as well as for working smoothly. It is advisable to turn off/switch off your smartphone for some time in every 24 hours.
Uninstall Least Used Apps
It will be beneficial for you to remove unnecessary applications or least used applications from your device because it will be an unnecessary burden on your RAM, ROM and CPU. Therefore, find the apps that are useful and uninstall them one by one. You can also remove system or default apps after rooting your smartphone.
Keep Phone Unused For Sometime
Try to avoid your smartphone when it is overheated. Using WiFi or other powerful features may cause overheating sometimes, and using a smart phone that time also injurious for your health as well. This condition lags the CPU processing so stop using mobile that time.
Bonus Tip : Root Your Phone
In my opinion, a rooted phone works smoother and faster than the non-rooted mobile. So it’s good to root your smartphone, rooted mobile implies that you can access the system application of your phone. You can root your phone using KingRoot.
Delete Unnecessary Data
If you have stored images, videos and songs in the internal memory, you’re really destroying the internal memory space and that could very well become the cause of your phone hanging all the time. Go ahead, take a look at all the pictures, videos and songs and delete the ones that you no longer need. Alternatively, first you can take backup of this data in your computer and then delete it from your phone. Photos, videos and audio take up most of the space the phone of an average smartphone user. It is one of the common reasons why your phone hangs.
Install An Antivirus App
Virus can considerably slow down your mobile phone. Needless to say, your phone will hang often. So, obviously you need an anti-virus. Although anti-virus software itself take up a lot of memory but it is better to have the virus removed.
Use Task Manager
Killing non functioning apps by using task manager application can enhance the mobile speed of your device. There are various task managers like advanced task manager- Killer, ES Task Manager (Task killer), Clean Master etc.
Exit an App Properly
It always happens that people do not exit a game or application properly after using them, which lags the CPU as these applications are running in the background so it is a advise to properly close an app.
Restore Factory Settings
If none of the above tips working, then go to your settings and restore your factory settings. This will erase all your data, and make your phone feel like a new one. But you should use this tip carefully. I am not responsible if lose any data and I don't personally recommend this tip.
